“TOGETHER WE CAN“
Welcome to Sir Bobby Robson School
Belong. Believe. Become.
It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of this inspiring and ambitious school community. Sir Bobby Robson school is a specialist provision for students aged 8 – 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are committed to creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment where all children and young people are supported to thrive.
Many of our pupils have faced challenges in previous educational settings and we understand the importance of offering a fresh start. At the heart of our work is the belief that strong, trusting relationships underpin everything we do. We work to understand the needs behind behaviours and support each student as an individual, helping them to feel valued, respected and empowered.
We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. We place a strong emphasis on developing knowledge and skills within English and maths, recognising these as essential foundations for future learning and independence. Alongside this, we provide rich opportunities in sport, the arts and vocational learning to support students in discovering their strengths, building confidence and developing the skills they need for a positive future.
We work closely with families, carers and professionals to create consistency and shared understanding around every child. We know that collaboration is key and we are committed to working together to achieve the best possible outcomes.
We know our website provides only a glimpse into the range of our provision, culture, activities and the fun that our pupils and staff enjoy as they learn. Please contact the school if you would like to know more.
